ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Danielle N. Williams JD, MS, MSED

Founder and CEO 

Danielle uses over 12 years of legal experience, to advocate for parents and children with disabilities. As a special educator for over 15 years, Danielle has served as a teacher, administrator, coach, and mentor. She currently serves as the secretary for the New York State Commissioner’s Advisory Panel for Special Education and is a member of Community Board 13 on the Special Education Committee. Danielle also was appointed as the Eastern Region Representative for the We Are One National Taskforce with Jack and Jill of America, Inc. to include differently-abled children in all program activities and is a 2020 Early Childhood Leadership Fellow with the Division for Early Childhood of the Council for Exceptional Children.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science; a Juris Doctorate (JD) concentrating on contract law and master's degrees in Special Education and School Building Leadership.  She has authored various articles on special education detailing her journey through the process for her children.

Danielle’s most important role is a wife and the mother of two school-aged children with disabilities who ignite her passion and resolve to guarantee students with disabilities are always treated with reverence and respect. Danielle’s passion for true inclusivity for all students helped her to coin the phrase  “Potential, Power, Possibilities".

MY APPROACH

The Why and How of S.T.I.G.M.A.

S.T.I.G.M.A Consulting Group, LLC assists parents of children with disabilities. S.T.I.G.M.A stands for students timely IEP growth modification advocates. We assist parents in navigating school systems to ensure children receive their proper mandated services to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. S.T.I.G.M.A provides IEP analysis, preparation, and recommendations for IEP meetings, in school and community resources, parent workshops, and 1:1 consultations. At S.T.I.G.M.A, we push our children to their highest potential, give children the power, and create endless possibilities. “Potential, Power, Possibilities.”
